Sea bream braised Asian-style with aromatic vegetables, ginger, and soy sauce is a classic Chinese recipe. Sea bream is appreciated not only for its high nutritional value and health-promoting properties, but also for its flavor. It is rich in vitamins B6 and B12, which are essential for the proper functioning of the circulatory and nervous systems. The key ingredient of this dish is light soy sauce, which will give a touch of oriental character.

Ingredients

• 1 sea bream, dressed and scaled
• 2 tablespoons pickled ginger, chopped
• 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
• 1 large clove of garlic, chopped
• 150 g frozen vegetables
• 1 small onion, sliced
• 1 can of tomatoes
• 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, for frying
• salt and pepper, to taste

A method of preparing

1. Stuff the fish with a mixture of 1 teaspoon of ginger, salt and pepper.
2. Then, carefully score the skin of the fish and drizzle with soy sauce (1/2 tablespoon on each side). Let it rest in a cool place for 15 minutes.
3. Heat the oil over medium heat, fry the garlic, onion and ginger until golden. Add the vegetables and fry for 4 minutes.
4. Add tomatoes, cover and simmer for 5 minutes
5. Place the fish on the vegetables, cover and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.
6. If there is not enough sauce, add a little water to prevent the vegetables from burning.
