Bento is a traditional Japanese meal containing rice, meat, and vegetables. The meal is packed in boxes and taken as a second breakfast or lunch to work or school. An important element of bento is the aesthetic arrangement of the ingredients. A beautifully presented bento expresses sincere and good feelings towards the person for whom the meal was prepared. The popularity of bento has spread beyond Japan's borders and is prevalent not only in Asian countries but also on other continents.
Our bento is made of vegetables, rice and small, tasty turkey meatballs with soy sauce.
