Thanks to our paste, which balances all the ingredients, the dish is sweet, spicy, and slightly sour all at once.

 

 

Ingredients

2 cans of 400 ml House of Asia Coconut Milk 5-7%

3 tablespoons Tom Kha Pastes House of Asia

2-3 tablespoons House of Asia Soy Sauce

1 chicken breast

a package of oyster mushrooms or light Shimeji mushrooms 

half a cube of tofu

half a teaspoon of brown sugar 

300-400 ml of broth

15-20 cherry tomatoes

3 shallot bulbs

3 Kaffir lime leaves

a stalk of lemongrass

a bunch of coriander

a handful of mung bean sprouts

1 lime

A method of preparing

1. Peel the shallot and fry in a little oil. Cut the tofu into cubes and the chicken into thin slices.

2. Add the tom kha paste to the shallots in the pan and sauté for a minute. Add the crushed lemongrass stalk and chicken breast pieces. Pour in the coconut milk and broth and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

3. Cut the tomatoes in half. Separate the mushrooms into clusters. Chop the cilantro. Add them to the soup for the last 3 minutes. Finally, season the soup with lime, soy sauce, and sugar, if necessary.

4. Serve the soup in a bowl, with a handful of sprouts and a pinch of fresh coriander.
