Vietnamese banh mi sandwich
Prepare a Vietnamese sandwich with us, featuring a crispy baguette, aromatic pork neck, and fresh vegetables. Thanks to the addition House of Asia Yakitori Sauce, the dish acquires a depth of flavor and a unique character.
Ingredients
- 100 gr House of Asia Yakitori Sauce
- 50 gr Thai Heritage Sweet Chili Sauce / Ros Thai Thai spring rolls and spring rolls sauce
- 50 ml House of Asia Rice Vinegar
- 2 half-baguettes
- 150 g pork neck, cut into thin slices
- 100 g of poultry pâté
- 1 carrot cut into strips
- 1 white turnip, cut into strips

A method of preparing
- Marinate the pork neck in 50g of yakitori sauce, season with salt and pepper, and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Then fry until golden brown and toss with the remaining yakitori sauce.
- Pour vinegar, water and sugar into a pot, bring to a boil, stir, then pour over the carrots and turnips and set aside to cool.
- Blend the pâté until smooth.
- Cut the baguettes lengthwise, but do not cut all the way through, remove the excess flesh and then bake in an oven preheated to 160 ° C for 5-6 minutes.
- Mix the chili/spring roll sauce with the mayonnaise.
- Spread the browned baguettes with mayonnaise sauce, then pate, add the fried pork neck, marinated vegetables, then add the sauce and sprinkle with coriander.
