Wings in hoisin sauce
Juicy chicken wings in aromatic hoisin sauce with a hint of sweetness and spice. Marinated in five-spice spice and garlic, breaded in coconut flour, and fried until golden brown. After frying, they are topped with a distinctive hoisin sauce, ketchup, and sambal oelek, garnished with crunchy sesame seeds and fresh scallions. The perfect snack for any party or evening with the family!
Ingredients
- 10 chicken wings, cleaned and dried
- 8 tablespoons coconut flour 1 tablespoon white sesame seeds, toasted in a dry pan
- spring onions; for decoration, cut into strips
- oil; for deep frying
SOS:
- 5 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 teaspoon of sauce Sambal Oelek
Marinade
- 0,5 teaspoon of 5-spice spice
- 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon of salt
A method of preparing
- Split the wings in half and cut off the flight feathers.
- Mix the marinade ingredients in a small bowl and rub it over the wings.
- Leave the meat to marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Mix the sauce ingredients in a large bowl.
- Grill at 175°C or fry in a deep pan with hot oil.
- Coat the wings in coconut flour and add to the oil. After 5 minutes of frying, reduce the heat (oil temperature approximately 140°C) and fry for about 10 minutes.
- Remove the wings with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels.
- Place the chicken in a bowl with the prepared sauce and thoroughly immerse it in it.
- Place the wings on a plate. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and scallions.
