Black bean pâté
Pâté on the Christmas Eve table? A bean pâté is a must-have. This recipe is perfect thanks to high-quality beans, fragrant straw mushrooms, and garlic paste. Surprise your guests and prepare it for the upcoming holidays.
Ingredients
50 gr Panko breadcrumbs House of Asia
30 g Mushroomscrowbars House of Asia
2 tsp House of Asia Garlic Pastes or 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
2 cans Black beans Casa de Mexico
2 onions, finely chopped
3 eggs
100 g of drained and chopped sauerkraut
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
Salt and pepper to taste
Frying oil
A little butter to grease the form
100 g of water
A method of preparing
1. Blend the panko in a blender. Sauté the onion, garlic paste, and sauerkraut in oil. Add water and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the water has completely evaporated. Finely dice the mushrooms, add them to the cabbage, and sauté for a few minutes.
2. Mix the beans with eggs and a little water, add to the cabbage and mushrooms, mix, and finally season with nutmeg, marjoram, salt and pepper.
3. Grease a baking pan with butter and dust with Panko breadcrumbs. Transfer the mixture to the pan. Bake for 40-50 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C (convection setting). After baking, leave to cool in the pan.
4. Serve the pâté warm or cold with sauces or vegetable preserves.
