Ingredients

Pork tonkatsu:

  • 100 gr panko breadcrumbs
  • 400 g pork loin (4 slices)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • frying oil

 Spicy salad:

  • 1 tablespoon gochujang paste
  • 1 spoon lime juice
  • 100 g red cabbage
  • 100 g carrots
  • 50 g of your favorite salad mix
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon gochugaru flakes

Pork tonkatsu

  1. Cut the pork into 1 cm slices and roll out to flatten it. Season the pieces with salt and pepper.
  2. Then dust them with flour, dip them in beaten egg, and coat them in panko breadcrumbs. Drop them into very hot oil and fry for 2 minutes on each side. After frying, drain excess oil on a paper towel.

 Spicy salad

  1. Finely chop the cabbage, cut the onion into thin strips, and the carrot into thin strips.
  2. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise with gochujang paste, gochugaru flakes, lime juice, and cilantro.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and mix thoroughly.

Wraps

  1. On an electric grill or in a preheated grill pan, sear the wraps on both sides (about 1 minute on each side). Meanwhile, you can also reheat the pork in the same way to keep it warm and crispy.
  2. While still warm, fold the wraps in half and fill them with the spicy salad, sliced ​​tonkatsu pork, and sliced ​​avocado. Pour the tonkatsu sauce over the inside of the wrap.
  3. Garnish the dish with fresh cilantro and black sesame seeds. Serve with lime wedges on the side for everyone to drizzle with the juice.
