Tikka Masala with Green Jackfruit
A popular Indian-style dish you can prepare in just half an hour! Thanks to the addition of green jackfruit, it's completely vegan, delicious, and rich in protein. Coconut milk adds an incredible creaminess, and the rich spices provide an inimitable aroma.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon House of Asia Tikka Masala Pastes
- 1 can Organic coconut milk 17-19% House of Asia
- 565 g Green Jackfruit QF, diced
- 200 gr Jasmine rice cooked
- 1 carrot, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, sliced
- 1 onion, cut into feathers
- 4 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 3 teaspoons of vegetable oil
- ½ teaspoon of turmeric
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon grated ginger
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 small bunch of cilantro, finely chopped
- 1 small bunch of parsley, finely chopped
- TIP: Instead of garlic you can use about 2 teaspoons of our garlic paste.
- TIP: Instead of ginger, you can use about ½ teaspoon of our ginger paste.
A method of preparing
- Heat oil in a wok and sauté the carrots, onion, garlic, and jackfruit. Then transfer everything to a separate pot.
- In the same wok, sauté the turmeric, cumin, ginger, cinnamon, and tomato paste, then add the coconut milk and bring to a boil.
- Pour the sauce into the pot with the vegetables, mix and season with Tikka Masala spice.
- Serve with rice, sprinkled with parsley and cilantro.
