Ingredients

300 g boneless chicken breast or drumstick, cut into 2 cm cubes

Marinade
• 1 sachet of paste Tikka Masala House of Asia
• 100 g Coconut milk 12-14% House of Asia
• 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
• 4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
• 3 cm chopped ginger
• 1 teaspoon of salt
Break
• 3 tablespoons of oil
• 1 onion, diced
• 4 cm chopped ginger
• 4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
• 1 tablespoon of spices: chili, sweet paprika, cumin
• 400 g chopped tomatoes or puree
• 100 ml of water
• 150 ml coconut milk
• 2 tablespoons of fresh coriander

A method of preparing

  1. Mix the marinade ingredients and add the chicken.
  2. Cover with foil and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Thread the chicken pieces onto long toothpicks and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake for 20 minutes.
  4. While baking, prepare the sauce: Pour oil into a hot pan, add onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until golden brown.
  5. Add all the spices and mix quickly. Add the tomatoes, water, and coconut milk. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Add the roasted chicken to the sauce and cook for another 3 minutes.

Garnish with cilantro, serve with rice or bread.
