- Chinese cabbage 1/3 of a small head
- Chopped chives 4 tablespoons
- Red pepper 1 pc.
- Yellow pepper 1 pc.
- Medium carrot 1 pc.
- Mushrooms 300 g
A method of preparing
- Cut the fillet into bite-sized pieces. Grate the ginger using a large-hole grater, and chop the garlic and chili. Place the meat in a bowl, add the five-spice powder, ginger, garlic, chili, and soy sauce. Mix well. Set aside for 10-20 minutes.
- Place the shiitake mushrooms in a pot and add 350 ml of hot water. Cook for 15 minutes. Remove the mushrooms, remove the stems, and slice the caps into strips. Reserve the cooking water.
- Boil the chow mein noodles (5 minutes), drain, and rinse with cold water.
- Cut the vegetables: peppers and carrots into pieces (squares, strips, or sticks), and mushrooms into slices. Coarsely chop the Chinese cabbage. Drain the bamboo shoots.
- Heat a large wok well. Add the oil, add the chicken and its marinade. Sauté for one minute, stirring, then add the bell pepper and carrot. After 30 seconds, add the mushrooms, then the bamboo shoots and shiitake mushrooms. Add the cabbage and chives, and stir. Add the cooked pasta and the mushroom cooking liquid. Heat together, stirring, for one minute.
