Chinese Chicken and Noodle Soup Chow Mein

Ingredients
- 200 gr Chow Mein Noodles House of Asia
- 0,5 tablespoons Sambal Oelek Hoise of Asia sauce
- 7 teaspoons House of Asia Light Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon House of Asia Roasted Sesame Oil
- 1 chicken fillet
- 1 liter of chicken broth
- 1 stalk of celery, thinly sliced
- 1/4 medium Chinese cabbage, cut into pieces
- 3 cm ginger, finely chopped
- 0,5 teaspoons of turmeric
- 1 tablespoon of oil for frying
- 2 teaspoons of cane sugar
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped spring onions
A method of preparing
1. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Boil the chicken breast in water with 5 teaspoons of soy sauce. Remove, let cool, and tear into strips.
2. Heat oil in a pot, add sambal oelek sauce, turmeric, and ginger. Fry for 1-2 minutes. Pour in the broth, season with toasted sesame oil, and add the remaining ingredients. Cook for a few minutes.
3. Place a portion of the noodles in bowls, add pieces of shredded chicken, sprinkle with spring onions and pour in the hot soup.
TIP: If you use bouillon cubes, reduce the amount of soy sauce a little so that the soup is not too salty.
