Ingredients

A method of preparing

  1. Combine flour, salt, sugar, ginger paste, sesame seeds, and water in a bowl. Knead until smooth. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Roll out the dough thinly and cut into narrow strips. Slit each strip in the center and fold it over to form angel wings.
  3. Meanwhile, heat oil and deep-fry the angel wings until golden brown. Drain excess fat on paper towels. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Tip: Want a more Asian twist? Prepare a flavorful syrup by heating 1 teaspoon House of Asia ground lemongrass,1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of water and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
