Wraps with duck and wheat-buckwheat Chow Mein noodles
You've never seen wraps like these before! Karolina Smykwkuchni reveals the secret to simple wraps that are unique in taste and appearance. Duck marinated in a mixture of duck sauce, soy sauce, and fish sauce, combined with our newest wheat-buckwheat noodles, tastes heavenly! See for yourself!
Ingredients
- 1 package of wheat-buckwheat Chow Mein noodles
- 4 whole grain wraps
- 2 Beijing duck drumsticks
- canola oil
- 1 carrot
- spring onions as desired
- chilli to taste
- sesame seeds to taste
- chili paste
Meat marinade:
- 2 – 3 tablespoons Peking duck sauce
- 1 spoon chili paste, ginger, garlic
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1 spoon fish sauce
- juice from 1/2 lime
- 1 tablespoon of cane sugar
- 1 chopped garlic clove
A method of preparing
- Separate the meat from the bones, cut into small pieces, and marinate. Fry in oil in a wok. When the meat is cooked, you can add spring onions or cilantro to your liking.
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water.
- Add 2 tablespoons of oil to the pan, toast the sesame seeds, then add the pasta and carrots cut into tagliatelle shapes. Cook over high heat.
- Season with soy sauce and chili or spring onion/coriander/parsley.
- Spread the wraps with chili paste, add the hot pasta from the pan, the duck, sprinkle with spring onions and roll the wraps.
TIP: If you want, you can also grill the wraps or fry them in a pan.
