Temaki
Crispy tamaki with shrimp, avocado, and arugula is a quick way to make homemade sushi, full of fresh flavors and a touch of spice. Perfect for a snack or a light dinner.
Ingredients
- 250 gr House of Asia sushi rice
- 4 tablespoons House of Asia Sushi Rice Sauce
- 5 House of Asia Nori Leaves
- 1 spoon House of Asia Premium Light Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon House of Asia white sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon House of Asia Sriracha Sauce
- 10 shrimp 16/20, peeled and cleaned
- 1/2 medium cucumber cut into thin strips
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons of lime juice
- a handful of arugula
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped coriander
A method of preparing
- Cook the rice according to the package instructions and mix it with the sushi rice sauce.
- Boil the shrimp in salted water for 2–3 minutes, let cool, chop and mix with mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, lime juice and cilantro.
- Place half a sheet of nori with the dull side up. Spread the rice in the lower left corner, then add the arugula, shrimp filling, avocado, and cucumber.
- Lightly moisten the edge of the nori with water to help it stick, then roll the temaki into a cone, starting from the bottom corner. Serve immediately.
