Nigiri sushi with salmon, eel and shrimp
Nigiri is one of the basic and simplest types of sushi. It usually consists of rice and a single ingredient, such as salmon, tuna, shrimp, or smoked eel. It's easy to form, so we recommend this type of sushi, especially for beginners.

A method of preparing
1. Prepare the rice according to the package instructions (you will also need House of Asia Sushi Rice Sauce). You can find the recipe for sushi rice here HERE>
2. Cut the salmon into thin slices, approximately 3x4cm in size.
3. With wet hands, shape the rice into small boats/teardrops with a flat base and a convex back. Spread a thin layer of wasabi paste over the rice backs and arrange pieces of salmon, shrimp, and eel on top.
4. Serve nigiri with soy sauce and pickled ginger.
