Futomaki with salmon and cucumber

Futomaki is one of the most popular and yet easiest sushi varieties to make. All you need is a little enthusiasm – this delicious dish is just waiting to be made. Get to it!
Ingredients
Portion: 60 pieces
- 400 gr House of Asia sushi rice
- 6 Nori Sheets Seaweed House of Asia
- 12 stripes House pickled gourd kampyo from Asia
- 120 ml House of Asia Rice Vinegar
- 6 tablespoons of sugar
- 300 g raw salmon fillet without skin
- 1 fresh cucumber, seedless, cut into 7 cm thin strips

A method of preparing
- Prepare the rice according to this recipe > See the video
- Place a nori leaf on a bamboo mat, shiny side down, and spread a thin layer of rice on it, leaving a 1,5 cm wide strip at the top and bottom. Wetting your hands with water will make the rice easier to apply.
- Arrange the salmon, cucumber, and gourd strips along the bottom edge. Lightly moisten the top nori strip and roll it up tightly.
- To make slicing easier, moisten the knife blade with water. Cut the roll into 10 pieces.
- Serve the futomaki with soy sauce, a bit of wasabi paste and pickled ginger.
