Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons House of Asia Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon House of Asia Fish Sauce
  • 0,5 teaspoon House of Asia Oyster Sauce
  • 400 g minced pork
  • 100 g raw shrimp, peeled and finely chopped
  • 2 sprigs of cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 medium shallots, finely chopped
  • 2,5 cm ginger root, finely chopped
  • 1 egg white
  • juice of ¼ lime
  • 50 ml of water
  • 0,5 red chili pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 100 g panko breadcrumbs
  • 500 ml oil; for frying

Break

  • 120 ml mayonnaise
  • 60 ml sweet chili sauce
  • juice of ¼ lime

A method of preparing

  1. Combine the sauce ingredients and set aside for the flavors to meld.
  2. Place the remaining ingredients, except the panko breadcrumbs, in a deep bowl. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Form balls with a diameter of 4 cm from the prepared mass.
  4. Coat the balls in panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry the balls until golden brown.
  6. Serve the Thai balls with spicy sauce separately or on skewers.
