Rice paper pockets
Ready in 30 minutes, these golden rice paper pockets filled with vegetables and feta cheese are the perfect Asian-inspired lunch or dinner. Light, crispy, and bursting with flavor!
Ingredients
- 8 sheets House of Asia rice paper
- 50 ml House of Asia Light Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon House of Asia Japanese Cuisine Spices
- 10 gr House of Asia White Sesame
- 1 egg
- red onion, cut into strips
- a handful of mixed salad
- chopped dried tomatoes
- a handful of baby spinach (blanched)
- 100 g feta cheese
- 100 g cucumber cut into half-slices
A method of preparing
- Lightly dip rice paper sheets in beaten egg and soy sauce (always fold two sheets together). Place crumbled feta, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach in the center. Fold the sides into a triangle shape.
- Place the cones on baking paper, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake in an oven preheated to 220°C for 12–15 minutes.
- Leave the baked pockets to cool for a while, cut them on the side and stuff them with mixed lettuce, cucumber and red onion.
