Turkey in orange sauce
This combination is a must-try on your plate! Orange juice, sambal sauce, and ginger paste make a great trio in this dish! Try this recipe and discover its exquisite flavor for yourself.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons House of Asia Light Soy Sauce
50 gr Sambal Oelek House of Asia chili sauce
2 tsp Ginger paste House of Asia or 3 cm of finely chopped ginger root
1 tablespoon of previously roasted White Sesame House of Asia
300 g turkey breast, cut into large cubes
50 g white part of leek, cut into matchsticks
2 oranges
1 medium carrot, cut into matchsticks
2 medium onions, sliced into wedges
2 teaspoons of corn flour
3 tablespoons chopped coriander
3 tablespoons of oil
A method of preparing
1. Grate the zest of one orange, then squeeze the juice and set aside. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, ginger paste, sambal oelek chili sauce, and the zest. Then marinate the turkey in the sauce.
2. Peel the second orange and cut it into smaller pieces, place it in a bowl and mix with the juice from the second orange and the cornstarch.
3. Pour oil into a heated pan, fry the turkey until golden brown, then add the carrots, onion, and leek. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Finally, add the orange sauce, mix well, and sprinkle with cilantro and sesame seeds.
TIP: The dish is best served with Chow Mein, Mie, Soba Noodles or Lotus Jasmine Rice.
