Warming soup with miso paste and cabbage
A warming miso soup in 15 minutes! Aromatic, full of umami, and incredibly easy to prepare, this soup with House of Asia's miso dashi paste is perfect for colder days. Bacon, sweet corn, and crispy cabbage make every bite a pure delight. Try it and experience the taste of Japan at home!
Ingredients
- 2 tsp House of Asia Dark Miso Dashi Paste
- 2 tablespoons House of Asia Light Soy Sauce
- 200 g raw, smoked bacon, diced
- 100 g of corn
- 200 g white cabbage, diced
- 2 liter of broth
- 1/2 onion, finely diced
- 2-3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped coriander
A method of preparing
- In a pot, fry the bacon. When lightly browned, add the onion and garlic. Cook for about 2 minutes. Then add the chopped cabbage and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Pour the broth into the pot and cook until the cabbage is tender. Finally, add the corn, cilantro, and season with soy sauce and miso paste.
