Salmon tartare with soy sauce, avocado and cilantro
Salmon tartare is characterized by a mild, subtle flavor and delicate texture. The addition of fresh avocado adds an interesting contrast to the dish, perfect for those who enjoy unusual flavor combinations.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon light soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame roasted
- ½ small teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon wasabi paste S & B
- ½ teaspoon S&B yuzy paste
- 200 g fresh salmon, cut into small cubes
- 1 small green cucumber, diced
- 1 medium shallot, finely diced
- 1 ripe avocado, diced
- ½ seedless chili pepper, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh coriander, finely chopped
- Salt, sugar to taste
- 1 lime, cut into quarters
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
A method of preparing
- Season the fresh salmon with salt and a pinch of sugar. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the cucumber and rice vinegar, seasoning with salt and sugar to taste. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
- Place the salmon in a bowl with the cucumber, add the shallot, chili, coriander, sesame seeds, yuzu paste and season with soy sauce and sesame oil.
- Serve with fresh avocado, mayonnaise, wasabi paste, and a lime wedge. Soy sauce also works well.
