Futomaki with salmon in a Tamago omelette is a sushi variation combining delicious ingredients. You'll need a few basic ingredients and some sushi-rolling skills. With our products, you'll be able to prepare not only well-seasoned rice but also your favorite sushi. Let's get started!

Ingredients

120 gr House of Asia sushi rice

½ teaspoon House of Asia wasabi paste

20 g salmon cut into long strips

1 tablespoon of cream cheese

1/2 avocado cut into strips

1/2 cucumber, cored and cut into long strips

Tamago Omelette:

3 tablespoons House of Asia Mirin Sauce

1 spoon Soy sauce House of Asia

3 eggs

1 teaspoon cane sugar

To serve:

House of Asia wasabi paste

House of Asia Teriyaki Sauce or Sweet Soy Sauce

House of Asia Premium Sushi Soy Sauce

Young pink sushi ginger and/ or white House of Asia

A method of preparing

1. Prepare the rice according to the instructions on the package (you will also need House of Asia Sushi Rice Sauce). You can find the recipe for cooking sushi rice here HERE>

2. Prepare the omelette: add the eggs, mirin, soy sauce and sugar to a bowl and mix thoroughly.

3. Pour the contents of the bowl into the heated pan and gradually reduce the heat so that the omelette slowly sets but does not burn on the bottom.

4. Cut the finished omelette to the size of a nori leaf and place it on a bamboo mat covered with cling film.

5. Spread the rice over the omelet, then spread the cream cheese and wasabi paste down the center, then top with the salmon, avocado, and cucumber. Roll everything up.

6. Cut the sushi into pieces and serve with your preferred sauces, ginger and wasabi.

TIP: Remember to always keep your knife clean, sharp and slightly damp so that the rice does not stick to it.

TIP: To prepare rice, instead of the ready-made sauce, you can use rice vinegar combined with sugar: dissolve 6 tablespoons of sugar in 150 ml of House of Asia Rice Vinegar (you can gently heat it) and mix with 500 g of sushi rice.
