Ingredients
- 1 cup House of Asia sushi rice
- 4 tablespoons House of Asia Sushi Rice Sauce
- 12 sheets House of Asia Nori Leaves
- 3 tsp House of Asia Premium Soy Sauce
- 2 tsp House of Asia Sriracha Sauce + to serve
- 100 gr House of Asia Panko Breadings
- 100 gr House of Asia tempura coatings + cold water (for the dough)
- 1 salmon fillet (approx. 200 g)
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 ripe avocado, mashed with salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons of cream cheese
- frying oil
- a handful of chives, finely chopped
A method of preparing
- Cook the sushi rice according to the package instructions, then let it cool completely. Add the sushi rice sauce and mix thoroughly.
- Marinate the salmon in some of the soy sauce and set aside for 10 minutes. Then bake in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes. Combine the baked salmon with the mayonnaise, sriracha, and remaining soy sauce, and mash with a fork.
- Place 1 tablespoon of cooled rice in the center of a nori sheet. Then spread with cream cheese, 1 tablespoon of crumbled salmon, a few cucumber slices, 1 tablespoon of mashed avocado, and more cream cheese. Cover with rice.
- Fold the edges of the nori toward the center, forming a tight sandwich. You can wrap it in aluminum foil to help shape the burger.
- Prepare the tempura batter according to the package instructions. Dip the burger in the batter, roll in panko breadcrumbs, and deep-fry in oil preheated to 180–200°C (350–400°F) for 2–3 minutes on each side.
- Cut the burger in half and serve with extra sriracha sauce and chives.
