Pork neck skewers
Meat lovers can't imagine a barbecue without pork neck! Simple skewers are an Asian option that will make the meat juicy after a short time on the grill.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons House of Asia Coconut Milk
- 1,5 teaspoons House of Asia Oyster Sauce
- 1,5 teaspoons House of Asia Light Soy Sauce
- 200 g pork neck meat (approx. 10 slices)
- 2 teaspoons of ground coriander seeds
- 1,5 teaspoons of coconut sugar
- 5 skewer sticks, approx. 10-12 cm long
- 2 garlic cloves
- 0,5 teaspoon of oil; for the marinade
- oil; for frying
A method of preparing
- Cut the meat into thin slices (preferably roughly rectangular, 3 x 5 cm) and place in a bowl.
- Crush the coriander seeds in a mortar and pestle. Mix in the coconut milk, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, oil, coconut sugar, coriander seeds, and chopped garlic.
- Rub the marinade thoroughly into the meat.
- Thread the meat onto the sticks, leaving a space at the end for your fingers to hold.
- Grill the skewers until golden brown or add a little oil to a hot pan and fry the skewers until golden brown on each side.
REMARKS: It is better if the skewers are narrow (cut the meat into strips and roll them on a stick like a ribbon) then they will fry evenly.
