Noodles fried like a Chinese
Chicken, fresh vegetables, and noodles in an Asian street food sauce. A quick, colorful, and flavorful dish that will be a hit at your table.
Ingredients
- 200 gr House of Asia Glassy Vermicelli Pasta
- 4 tablespoons House of Asia Light Soy Sauce
- 3 tablespoons House of Asia Dark Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons House of Asia Oyster Sauce
- 3 tablespoons House of Asia Sesame Oil
- 60 gr House of Asia Mung Bean Sprouts (drained)
- 1 teaspoon House of Asia Chinese Cuisine Spices
- 150 g chicken breast meat, cut into thin strips
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- a piece of finely chopped ginger
- 2 eggs
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, cut into thin matchsticks
- 1/2 red pepper cut into strips
- a handful of finely chopped spring onions
- 3 tablespoons of oil for frying
A method of preparing
- Cover the pasta with boiling water and let it sit for about 7-10 minutes, until tender. Drain and cut it up with scissors.
- Prepare the sauce. In a bowl, combine light and dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, 4 tablespoons water, and 1 tablespoon sugar. Mix thoroughly. Marinate the chicken in a few tablespoons of the sauce and set aside for at least 5 minutes.
- Beat the eggs in a bowl.
- Heat a pan or wok with oil. Sauté the onion, carrot, ginger, and bell pepper. Add the chicken and garlic and season with spices. Fry for a few minutes.
- Move the ingredients to the side of the pan and pour in the eggs, frying until they are set.
- Add the pasta, sprouts, and spring onions. Pour in the sauce and mix thoroughly. Cook for another 5 minutes.
- Serve immediately, hot.
