Pork in curry sauce with nuts
Immerse yourself in Thai flavors – tender pork neck in a creamy curry sauce with nuts and vegetables is a feast full of aroma and color.
Ingredients
- 400 ml Organic coconut milk 17-19% House of Asia
- 3 tablespoons House of Asia Fish Sauce
- 50 gr House of Asia Red Curry Paste
- 100 gr Smart Chef Jasmine Rice
- 250 g pork neck
- 100 g kale, cut into smaller pieces
- 100 g pak choy or Chinese cabbage, cut into strips
- 100 g mung bean sprouts
- 100 g peanuts
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 3-4 tablespoons of oil
Meat marinade:
- 1 spoon House of Asia Oyster Sauce
- 2 tablespoons House of Asia Light Soy Sauce
- 2-3 teaspoons House of Asia Garlic Pastes or 3-4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of potato starch
A method of preparing
- Mix the marinade ingredients together. Remove any film and fat from the pork neck, then thinly slice and add to the marinade.
- Roast the peanuts in a pan, then grind them finely.
- Pour oil into a wok, add curry paste and heat until it begins to dissolve and release its aroma, then add coconut milk and cook for about 5 minutes, then add sugar and fish sauce.
- Add the meat to the prepared sauce and simmer until tender, about 20 minutes. After this time, add the peanuts, kale, and the hard parts of the cabbage. Cook for 2 minutes, then add the soft parts. Serve the dish with rice and sprinkle with fresh sprouts.
