- 4 tablespoons House of Asia Light Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons House of Asia Rice Vinegar
- 200 ml tomato puree
- 100 ml pineapple juice
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- a pinch of pepper
- ½ teaspoon of potato flour
A method of preparing
- Prepare the tempura according to the package instructions. Marinate the chicken pieces in the spice mix with a little oil and salt. Coat them in the tempura.
- Fry the chicken in hot oil until golden brown and drain on a paper towel.
- Combine all sauce ingredients and set aside. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, then rinse with cold water and drain.
- Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan, sauté the onion until translucent, add the garlic and grated ginger, and sauté briefly. Add the pineapple and bell pepper, and cook until lightly browned. Pour in the sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
- Add the pasta and fried chicken, mix thoroughly, and transfer to plates. Serve sprinkled with chives and sesame seeds.
To enhance the oriental flavor, add a few drops House of Asia Sesame Oil just before serving – it will bring out the aroma of the sauce and give the dish a deeper character.
