Slightly spicy Mie noodles with shrimp in oyster sauce
Quick Chinese noodles with shrimp are a perfect combination of delicate seafood, crispy sprouts and aromatic oyster sauce.
Ingredients
- 1/2 package Mie House of Asia Noodles
- 1/2 package House of Asia Mung Bean Sprouts
- 4 tablespoons House of Asia Oyster Sauce
- 10 shrimp 16/20, peeled and cleaned
- ½ medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- a handful of chives, finely chopped
- 1 lime
- frying oil
A method of preparing
- Prepare the pasta according to the package instructions. Transfer the sprouts to a sieve, rinse with cold water, and thoroughly squeeze out any excess liquid.
- Marinate the shrimp in 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce and a little oil. Fry in a hot pan for 1 minute on each side, then remove from the pan.
- In the same pan, sauté the onion for 2–3 minutes, add the garlic and sauté for another minute. Add the mung bean sprouts and sauté for another 3–4 minutes.
- Add the pasta, shrimp, and season with lime juice. Pour in the remaining oyster sauce and mix well. Sprinkle with chives before serving.
