Chinese fried noodles with vegetables
Quick, aromatic Asian-style stir-fried noodles with vegetables are the perfect idea for a quick dinner. Ready in 20 minutes, they're full of color, crunch, and the distinctive flavor of Cantonese paste.
Ingredients
- 100 gr Mie House of Asia Noodles
- 50 gr House of Asia Cantonese Paste
- 1 jar House of Asia Wok Vegetables
- 1 red pepper, cut into strips
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- a handful of spring onions, finely chopped
- 1 chili pepper, finely chopped
- Frying oil
A method of preparing
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan or wok. Add the garlic and onion, and sauté for 30 seconds until they release their aroma.
- Add the peppers and drained vegetables to the wok and fry for another 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked noodles and Cantonese paste. Cook together for 3–4 minutes.
- Finally, add the spring onions. Gently mix everything together and serve hot.
To make the noodles even crispier and in a street food style, fry them a little longer without stirring – this will give them a golden, slightly toasted crust.
