Steak tartare on rice paper crisps
A simple way to create a spectacular dish. Salmon tartare on crispy rice combines fresh ingredients with subtle Japanese accents.
Ingredients
- 3 sheets House of Asia rice paper
- 1 teaspoon House of Asia Sriracha Sauce
- 1 teaspoon House of Asia White Sesame
- 15 ml House of Asia Roasted Sesame Oil
- 1 teaspoon House of Asia Japanese Cuisine Spices
- 150 g salmon fillet
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 avocado, finely diced
- 1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped
- Oil for frying
A method of preparing
- Heat the oil. Cut the rice paper sheets into 4 triangles with scissors and fry for a few seconds until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Dice the salmon into small cubes and toss with red onion, avocado, sesame oil, sriracha, and Japanese seasoning. Place a serving of tartare on each crisp, and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chives.
